More than 1.32 million euro in funding has been allocated to eight Galway projects focusing on technology, food and small business initiatives<\/p>\n
The Smart Regions Enterprise Innovation Scheme aims to strengthen regional enterprise, drive innovation and support sustainable economic growth.<\/p>\n
To continue supporting start-ups and SMEs, Platform 94 and Creative Leaders Innovating for Market and Business Growth will receive over \u20ac300,000 each.<\/p>\n
Following close behind with an allocation of over \u20ac230,000 is BIA Innovator Campus, which will use the funding to train and develop facilities.<\/p>\n
Galway City Innovation District is getting over \u20ac166,000 for its development of new early-stage innovation infrastructure and entrepreneurship pathways.<\/p>\n
Four other initiatives will receive funding worth between 40 and 70 thousand euro – Grow Remote Ireland, Galway Growth Cluster, Marine Institute and \u00dadar\u00e1s na Gaeltachta.<\/p>\n
