A former X-Men star that\u2019s set to return in the upcoming\u00a0Avengers: Doomsday<\/strong><\/a> recently shared how excited he was to be stepping back into the world of superheroes.<\/p>\n

What MCU star was happy to be back for Avengers: Doomsday?<\/p>\n

Speaking to ComingSoon<\/a>,\u00a0Kelsey Grammer<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2014 who reprises his role as the X-Man Hank McCoy\/Beast in Doomsday \u2014 was asked about what it\u2019s like to come back and play Beast on the 20th anniversary of X-Men: The Last Stand. Grammer is not secretive in his love of playing Beast, and said that it was \u201cone of the great opportunities\u201d of his life to return.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, it was the secret, quiet passion and mind to come back to Beast because I love the character. I love him for what I think he stands for,\u201d Grammer said. \u201cI mean, to me, to my mind, he\u2019s the Martin Luther King of the mutant community. He\u2019s a man of stature, of integrity, who believes that what you do is who you are, and he\u2019s done everything, and he stands. He was slow to action, but once being immersed, he is given no quarter and expects none. He\u2019s an amazing character, an amazing man.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love playing him. I think people will be happy with what we\u2019re doing when he comes back. But I\u2019d love to see [what happens] and play him again. Honestly, to me, he is one of the great opportunities in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

So far, several major stars from the MCU have been confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, including Chris Hemsworth\u2019s Thor,\u00a0Pedro Pascal\u2019s Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby\u2019s Invisible Woman\/Sue Storm,\u00a0Anthony Mackie\u2019s Captain America,\u00a0Sebastian Stan\u2019s Bucky Barnes\/Winter Soldier,\u00a0Letitia Wright\u2019s Shuri\/Black Panther, and\u00a0Paul Rudd\u2019s Ant-Man.<\/p>\n

More names for the upcoming movie include\u00a0Wyatt Russell\u2019s U.S. Agent\/John Walker,\u00a0Tenoch Huerta\u2019s Namor,\u00a0Ebon Moss-Bachrach\u2019s The Thing\/Ben Grimm,\u00a0Simu Liu\u2019s Shang-Chi,\u00a0Florence Pugh\u2019s Yelena Belova,\u00a0Kelsey Grammer\u2019s Dr. Hank McCoy\/Beast,\u00a0Lewis Pullman\u2019s Bob\/Sentry,\u00a0Danny Ramirez\u2019s Joaquin Torres\/Falcon,\u00a0Joseph Quinn\u2019s Johnny Storm\/Human Torch,\u00a0David Harbour\u2019s Alexei Shostakov\/Red Guardian,\u00a0Winston Duke\u2018s M\u2019Baku,\u00a0Hannah John-Kamen\u2018s Ava Starr\/Ghost, and\u00a0Tom Hiddleston\u2018s Loki.<\/p>\n

Several X-Men characters are also coming back for the upcoming movie, including\u00a0Patrick Stewart\u2018s Charles Xavier,\u00a0Ian McKellen\u2018s Magneto,\u00a0Alan Cumming\u2018s Nightcrawler,\u00a0Rebecca Romijn\u2018s Mystique,\u00a0James Marsden\u2018s Cyclops, and\u00a0Channing Tatum\u2018s Gambit.<\/p>\n
