disturbance in Glasgow<\/a> – which saw armed police called in – has since been charged.<\/p>\nThe incident happened at around 9.50am on Monday after officers attended a property on Drumlaken Street in Summerston in connection with an ongoing investigation. A disturbance shortly followed and specialist resources, including firearms officers, attended as a precaution.<\/p>\n
Roads were also closed and nearby residents were forced to leave their properties for nearly 10 hours during the disturbance, they later returned in the evening.<\/p>\n
A 56-year-old man has since been charged in connection with the alleged incident. A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed he was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today, December 16.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson said: “Around 9.50am on Monday, 15 December, 2025, officers attended an address on Drumlaken Street in Glasgow in connection with an ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n
