Closures are still in place in the week before Christmas<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no let up for road closures in the run up to Christmas<\/a>, with five Greater Manchester motorways being closed in sections this week, December 16-20.<\/p>\n

National Highways, the organisation which manages the country\u2019s major A-roads and motorways, has issued a list of all the planned motorway closures in Greater Manchester this week. It confirms five motorways in the region will be closed, typically for maintenance work.<\/p>\n

The five motorways are the M58, M60<\/a>, M61, M62<\/a>, and M67. Closures typically begin around 9pm, and are usually lifted by 6am.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s best to plan ahead so you don\u2019t get caught out and have to take a detour. So because every driver should be aware of the closures, we have listed every section of Greater Manchester motorway to be closed this week.<\/p>\n
