Police have released an image of a man they want to speak after a female passenger was sexually harassed aboard a London train<\/a>. The woman was travelling between Victoria<\/a> and Denmark Hill at around 8.30pm on December 3 when she was approached.<\/p>\n Taking a seat beside her, a man threatened to punch her whilst subjecting her to sexual harassment. He then purposefully blocked her exit as she attempted to get away.<\/p>\n The ordeal only ended when another passenger stepped in, forcing the man to stop. The British Transport Police<\/a> (BTP) has now launched an appeal to identify a person of interest.<\/p>\n A statement reads: “Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information that could help with their investigation.”<\/p>\n The photo shows a man in his late-20s to 30s, of slim build, with short dark hair and a moustache. He is wearing a black hoodie and appears to be carrying a yellow JD Sports drawstring bag.<\/p>\n Anyone who recognises them is urged to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 778 of 3 December.
