Students will continue to pay tuition fees to their home university.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Ministers are reportedly looking at extending the programme beyond university courses so that more of the population can benefit from the exchange programme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">EU minister Nick Thomas-Symonds is expected to make an official announcement setting out the details today. In a major foreign policy speech at the start of the month, the PM <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/politics\/keir-starmer-slams-brexit-wild-36335496\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">was clear that Britain must make its relationship with the EU <\/a>work for British people, saying that while <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/brexit\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"BrexitLink opens in a new tab.\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">Brexit<\/a> was a \u201cfair, democratic expression\u201d, the way it was sold and delivered was \u201csimply wrong\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cThe Brexit vote was a fair, democratic expression, and I will always respect that,\u201d he said. \u201cBut how it was sold and delivered was simply wrong. Wild promises were made to the British people and not fulfilled.
