A Manchester hotel<\/a> co-owned by two former Manchester United stars has received a top accolade which puts it in the top percentage of more than eight million properties worldwide.<\/p>\n Stock Exchange Hotel<\/a>, on Norfolk Street in the city centre<\/a>, has been recognised with the Travellers Choice Award from TripAdvisor, which is given to venues which are heralded for their excellent amenities and above-and-beyond customer service.<\/p>\n It has also been named within TripAdvisor\u2019s Best of the Best 2025 list, putting it in the top 1% for over eight million properties worldwide, as well as being the only Manchester venue in the top ten for its UK\u2019s Luxury Hotels category.<\/p>\n Situated in the Grade II-listed building of Manchester\u2019s former stock exchange, Stock Exchange Hotel has been stayed at by the likes of Madonna, Paul McCartney, and Nicki Minaj <\/a>whilst performing or rehearsing in Manchester.<\/p>\n Co-owned by Gary Neville<\/a> and Ryan Giggs, the five-star hotel features 40 bespoke bedrooms, alongside a number of signature suites and a top floor residence called The House.<\/p>\n First opened as a stock exchange building in 1906, it has been heralded as an \u2018exquisite example\u2019 of Edwardian Baroque architecture with many original features remaining in place like its marble pillars and \u2018gleaming\u2019 brass fixtures.<\/p>\n Gary and Ryan, along with Winston Zahra, opened the building as a hotel in 2019. Last year, the hotel\u2019s grand domed hall was unveiled with a glamorous new restaurant<\/a> fronted by Michelin-starred chef Niall Keating.<\/p>\n Tender – a nod to both the tender loving care in Niall’s dishes, as well as a play on the word for cash linking to the building’s former life – features a range of small plates, like deep fried goats’ cheese with tomato chilli jam, padron peppers, and salt and pepper squid, alongside larger plates of the likes of root vegetable wellington, white line-caught seabass and salt-aged tomahawk steak.<\/p>\n Throughout the week it also serves breakfasts, afternoon tea, and a Sunday roast featuring the choice of roast salt aged sirloin of beef, rotisserie corn-fed chicken or a root vegetable pithivier.<\/p>\n Bosses at Stock Exchange Hotel have said that their recent recognition from TripAdvisor serves as a \u2018formal recognition\u2019 of its sustained levels of excellence in hospitality.<\/p>\n Chris Hull, General Manager at Stock Exchange Hotel, said: \u201cReceiving the Traveller\u2019s Choice Award is a huge honour, and a real testament to the dedication of the entire Stock Exchange Hotel team.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re lucky to be housed in the most beautiful of buildings, steeped in history, and we strive to ensure that every aspect of the guest experience matches this extraordinary standard.
