Bristol City are in conversation with former Liverpool youth prospect Ranel Young over a potential move to Ashton Gate, Bristol Live<\/a> understands, but no deal has yet been agreed at this stage.<\/p>\n Young, who is 19 years old, left Liverpool at the end of the 2024\/25 season having opted against extending his stay at Anfield. Instead, the teenager opted to make the move to Serbia where he joined FK Usce.<\/p>\n The versatile winger has made five league appearances for Goran Dragoljic’s side this season, assisting once. Young progressed through the age groups on Merseyside, featuring in the FA Youth Cup<\/a> and UEFA Youth League before he put pen to paper on his first professional contract in May 2023.<\/p>\n At the start of the 2024\/25 campaign, the teenager linked up with Liverpool’s Under-21 side and also had his first experience of a first-team matchday under the management of Arne Slot.<\/p>\n Young was named on the Reds’ bench for their Carabao Cup clash against Brighton in October 2024.
