Prince Harry is hitting the polo field in Aspen, Colo. ahead of his future holiday plans<\/a> with Meghan Markle and their family. <\/p>\n

Photos showed the Duke of Sussex, 41, playing a friendly game of polo with pals on Wednesday in what appears to be a sporty break for the royal.<\/p>\n

He appeared lively as he showed off his well-practiced skills on top of a horse in his light blue Aspen Valley team polo jersey and white pants. He finished off his look with a pair of dark shades and the rest of his athletic gear. <\/p>\n

The prince previously made an appearance in the Colorado hot spot for a charity polo match<\/a> in 2021 following the birth of his daughter, Princess Lilibet, now 4<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hours before his polo photos surfaced, an additional set of photos were posted showing Harry skiing with his friend Nacho Figueras.<\/p>\n

\u201cPrince Harry was with Nacho for about four hours on the mountains. The pair spent the day skiing and enjoyed lunch together at one of the restaurants at the resort,\u201d a source told Hello! Magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry seemed happy and was also joined by a number of male friends on the slopes.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, neither Markle, 44, nor their children\u00a0made the trip with him. <\/p>\n

However, as Page Six previously reported earlier this week, the royals are expected to still celebrate the Christmas holiday at home in Montecito, Calif., alongside their kids and Markle\u2019s mom, Doria Ragland.<\/p>\n

But the parents have reportedly made plans to jet away with friends shortly after for a glamorous New Year\u2019s vacation out of the country.<\/p>\n

The holiday travels come as the \u201cWith Love, Meghan\u201d star faces scrutiny<\/a> for allegedly not showing up to support her ailing father<\/a>, Thomas Markle, shortly after he underwent emergency surgery for a dangerous blood clot and had his leg amputated as a result.<\/p>\n

While a rep for the royal previously claimed that the Duchess of Sussex had, in fact, reached out to her father<\/a>, Thomas alleged that he had not received any correspondence from his daughter. <\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to die estranged from Meghan. I want to meet my grandkids. It might be nice to meet her husband too,\u201d Thomas told the Daily Mail at the time. <\/p>\n

In the most recent update, the Sussex rep had since told Page Six that Markle\u00a0finally managed to get a letter\u00a0<\/a>to her father.<\/p>\n
