A London<\/a> burglary gang have been slammed with more than 57 years in prison altogether. It comes after the gang wreaked havoc across London, Surrey, Sussex, Thames Valley, Hertfordshire and Essex between November 2024 and March 2025.<\/p>\n

The crafty thieves<\/a> – including criminals from Wembley<\/a>, Hayes<\/a> and Pinner <\/a>– thought they were being clever when they tried to swerve cops<\/a>, using tactics such as moving in stolen cars on cloned plates, leaving their phones behind or switching them off, and even trying in vain to remove DNA with cleaning spray.<\/p>\n

But little did they know cops were onto them. A high-tech investigation involving drones, CCTV, and ANPR, led to police pouncing on some of the gang in March and caught them red-handed in a stolen vehicle with stolen goods.<\/p>\n

They were hit with over 57 years behind bars following their trial at Kingston Crown Court on yetserday, (Wednesday, December 17).<\/p>\n

\u2018Industrial scale burglary\u2019<\/p>\n

Detective Chief Inspector Antony Leadbeatter said: \u201cThis was burglary on an industrial scale – organised criminality targeting ordinary homes and relentless in their offending. The work carried out by Surrey\u2019s Serious Organised Crime team, supported by other specialist teams within Surrey Police to identify these men, catch them, and build an extensive body of evidence against them has been fantastic leaving them no choice but to enter a string of guilty pleas. Our message to burglars is clear \u2013 target Surrey and we will target you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Patrick Nolan, 35, from London, pleaded guilty to 19 offences of conspiracy to commit burglary. He was sentenced to 10 years and 10 months.<\/p>\n

George Price 34, from St Helen\u2019s, pleaded guilty to 21 offences of conspiracy to commit burglary. He was sentenced to 10 years and two months.<\/p>\n

Lawrence Connors, 32, from Hayes, pleaded guilty to 11 offences of conspiracy to commit burglary. He also breached his criminal behaviour order. He was sentenced to 11 years and 10 months.<\/p>\n

Miles Doran, 36, from Pinner, pleaded guilty to one offence of burglary and one of attempted burglary. He was sentenced to two years and eight months.<\/p>\n
