Bradford Bulls have signed Hull KR forward Leon Ruan with a view to a permanent deal for the 22-year-old<\/p>\n

Bradford Bulls have bolstered their ranks with the signing of Hull KR<\/a> forward Leon Ruan. All Out Rugby League<\/a> reports that the Bulls have finalised a deal for the 22 year old, with plans for a permanent contract in the future.<\/p>\n

Ruan joined the Robins ahead of the 2025 season after parting ways with Leeds Rhinos but didn’t feature during the club’s triumphant treble-winning campaign, instead spending time on loan at Featherstone Rovers and Salford Red Devils.<\/p>\n

However, he will now head to Odsal in search of regular Super League action, having already made 20 appearances in the competition.<\/p>\n

A product of the Wakefield Trinity academy, Ruan chose to step down to League 1 at an early age to gain first-team experience. His performances for Doncaster, where he scored six tries in 21 appearances, caught the attention of Leeds who subsequently offered him a trial.<\/p>\n

He impressed enough to secure a contract with the club ahead of the 2023 season. During his two seasons with the Rhinos, he played 11 times and also had a brief loan stint at Bradford, making two appearances in 2023.<\/p>\n

Now, he is poised for a longer spell at Bradford, who have been eager to add him to their squad for several weeks.
