AN EDINBURGH based AI-consultancy company has opened a new office in Fountainbridge, pledging a\u00a0furthr\u00a0\u00a310m in its Scottish workforce.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tomoro\u00a0AI collaborates with companies such as Virgin Atlantic, Fidelity International, Supercell to work \u201con some of the world\u2019s most complex AI engineering challenges.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The added investment will expand its Scottish team significantly, creating roles for AI <\/a>engineers and delivery leads.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On its website,\u00a0Tomoro\u00a0AI states that it helps companies with \u201cAI business strategy, custom AI solutions, and putting in place the enterprise technology and skills to scale AI across businesses\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Business minister Richard Lochhead formally opened the office by cutting a ceremonial tartan ribbon, describing\u00a0Tomoro\u00a0as \u201ca European technology powerhouse helping ensure Scotland is at the forefront of the AI revolution\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"large<\/a>AI companies have grown in Edinburgh, with two AI data centres being proposed to the council.<\/p>\n

Lochhead added: \u201cScotland has the talent, ambition and world-class research ecosystem\u00a0required\u00a0to shape how businesses, at home and across the world, benefit from AI\u2019s impact.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe solutions Ed and the team showed me today are testament to the capability on offer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTomoro\u2019s\u00a0<\/a>decision to invest further and grow its presence here strengthens Scotland\u2019s position as a global hub for innovation.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis \u00a310m\u00a0commitment will create high-value jobs, develop exceptional local talent and contribute significantly to our dynamic tech economy.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ed Broussard, co-founder and\u00a0managing\u00a0director at\u00a0Tomoro, said: \u201cFrom day one\u00a0we\u2019ve\u00a0believed Scotland has the depth of talent,\u00a0curiosity\u00a0and engineering excellence to solve the hardest problems in AI.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The company also has offices in London<\/a>, Melbourne, and Sydney, while opening its Singapore base in May of this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
