Lorna Luxe reveals doctors told her to ‘prepare for the worst’ as her husband was rushed to intensive care in hospital.<\/p>\n

The influencer, 43, shared the sad health update with fans on Instagram amid her husband John’s cancer treatment. John, 64, has stage four adrenal cancer \u2013 after being diagnosed with the stage three of the disease in April 2023.<\/p>\n

John went into remission in 2024 but in May of the same year Lorna revealed John’s cancer had returned to his adrenal gland\u2013 and had moved to his brain, too.<\/p>\n

Last month, Lorna revealed John had undergone surgery to remove a tumour on his brain. Now, the fashion and lifestyle influencer has shared a heartbreaking update and revealed her husband was rushed to hospital earlier this week after experiencing a complication with his chemotherapy treatment.<\/p>\n

Sharing a black and white photo of John on her Instagram story, she wrote: “J’s back in hospital… A complication with his chemo left him with organ failure and two days ago the intensive care team were preparing me for the worse.<\/p>\n

“But John isn’t the average patient and he’s somehow defied the odds, showing improvement every step of the way,” she wrote before adding. “It’s a struggle here to get the balance right, I want to respect his privacy but also be honest about how things are going. He’s been telling me off for not posting, even asking me today why I’d not shared an update so this is as much for him as for you.”<\/p>\n

She wrote a further post on her Instagram grid as she shared a video of the pair kissing on a sun-soaked balcony. Writing on top of the clip, Lorna penned: “We haven’t come this far, just to come this far”.<\/p>\n

Lorna then added in the caption: “My man is back in hospital\u2026 and while we\u2019re both putting a brave face on it, this past few days haven\u2019t been easy. A complication with his chemo left him with organ failure and two days ago the intensive care team were preparing me for the worse. But John isn\u2019t the average patient and he\u2019s somehow defied the odds, showing improvement every step of the way.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s a struggle here to get the balance right, I want to respect his privacy but also be honest about how things are going. He\u2019s been telling me off for not posting, even asking me today why I\u2019d not shared an update so this is as much for him as for you.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re both so grateful for the messages of support and the genuine kindness {and giggles} you\u2019ve given us. I don\u2019t think I\u2019d have got through this year without you and the community we\u2019ve all built, it\u2019s become a lifeline for me so thank you with all my heart x”.<\/p>\n

Lorna was flooded with messages of support in the comments section from celebrity friends, including Shaughna Phillips who wrote: “You\u2019ve had it b****y hard this year, but your vulnerability at such a scary time in your life, is so brave and powerful. Sending lots of love and healing power to both of you”.<\/p>\n

Caroline Hirons added: “Oh Lorna. Sending all my love.” While Kate Lawler added: “Gosh John is a fighter. Sending you both so much love and hope XXX” and Rose Gallagher penned: “I am sending you both a huge hug and all my love, we are all behind you John”.<\/p>\n
