He will be offered to Fenerbahçe. A costly player,” Hamzaoulu said, as posted by Futbol Arena on X.

“I don’t know if Fenerbahçe will get involved in this transfer, but as I said, he will be offered [to them].”

A host of clubs, no doubt bigger ones than Fenerbahce, would no doubt jump at the chance to sign Martinelli should the opportunity arise. Bayern Munich have shown interest previously, for example.

Want more breaking transfer lines from original sources? He’s constantly willing to learn, very demanding with himself, and hopefully that gives him the confidence again because he is an outstanding player.”

Arteta has also highlighted the importance of utilising ‘finishers’ in modern football – players who can come off the bench to see out, or win a game with their contributions.

Martinelli certainly fits into that category, and with his contract valid until 2027, and Arsenal having the option to extend it by a further year, it would be a huge shock to see him leave next month.

The Gunners need all the quality players they can get as they push for the Premier League and Champions League titles, and Martinelli has proved time and again that he can come up with pivotal moments for his team.

Latest Arsenal news: Man Utd’s €100m offer, Berta eyes double signing

Meanwhile, a shock report states that Manchester United are set to make an ‘astronomical’ bid as they aim to beat Arsenal to the signature of Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz.

It’s claimed that United are preparing to launch a stunning €100million (£88m) bid for the 20-year-old, which could blow Arsenal out of the water.

In other news, Arsenal’s sporting director Andrea Berta has reportedly set his sights on a sensational double centre-back signing to bolster the Gunners’ defensive options.

The London side are said to be considering moves for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi and Rennes star Jeremy Jacquet.

Get the inside story first by joining our TEAMtalk Facebook channel to receive the latest breaking and exclusive news straight into your Messenger inbox.

Arsenal are set to part ways with Gabriel Martinelli in what would be one of the biggest shocks…

[4100
160,161,94,163,25014,101,79,100,16,15
0":"post-644681","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-football","8":"tag-all-the-news","9":"tag-arsenal","10":"tag-football","11":"tag-front-page","12":"tag-gabriel-martinelli","13":"tag-premier-league","14":"tag-sports","15":"tag-transfer-news","16":"tag-uk","17":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
