Instagram\/@princeandprincessofwales<\/p>\n<p>Prince William was 11 years old when Princess Diana, who died in 1997, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=37982084&amp;action=edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">brought him and his brother<\/a> Prince Harry to The Passage.<\/p>\n<p>Per <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/prince-william-brings-prince-george-homelessness-charity-same-age-princess-diana-took-him-11870928\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">People<\/a>, Prince George signed The Passage\u2019s visitors book on the same page that both Princess Diana and Prince William did.<\/p>\n<p>The father and son visited on Tuesday and baked cupcakes and packed care packages.<\/p>\n<p>Prince William and Prince George pack meals for the charity residents.  Instagram\/@princeandprincessofwales<\/p>\n<p>Prince William and Prince George also helped decorate a Christmas tree.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was important to the Prince of Wales to share with Prince George the work of The Passage and to spend time volunteering alongside the team,\u201d the Prince\u2019s spokesperson shared. \u201cThey both greatly enjoyed meeting staff, volunteers and service users as well as learning more about the charity\u2019s work. The dedication shown not only by The Passage but by organizations across the homelessness sector, at Christmas and throughout the year, is invaluable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last November, the royal opened up about <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/11\/02\/entertainment\/the-royal-family-is-listening-to-prince-harry-following-a-calculated-move-from-prince-william-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">volunteering at The Passage in his youth<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Prince George decorating a Christmas tree. Instagram\/@princeandprincessofwales<\/p>\n<p>Markle, 44, and Prince Harry have been <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/19\/entertainment\/meghan-markle-shares-intimate-holiday-card-featuring-prince-harry-archie-and-lilibet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">celebrating the holiday season<\/a> in Montecito, California with their two kids Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the \u201cSuits\u201d actress shared her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DScx9WAEX8D\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">family\u2019s holiday card on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, one day earlier, Princess Kate, 43, and Prince William <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/18\/entertainment\/prince-william-kate-middleton-pose-with-george-charlotte-and-louis-in-2025-christmas-card\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">released their own 2025 family Christmas card<\/a> featuring Prince George, Princess Charlotte, 10,\u00a0and\u00a0Prince Louis, 7.  <\/p>\n<p>Prince William brings his son to The Passage, just  like his mom, the late Princess Diana did.
