Former Bayern Munich transfer target and current Arsenal FC attacker Kai Havertz could be inching closer to a return.<\/p>\n
Suffering through a knee injury since mid-August, Havertz has been unable to play for club or country. Now, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta indicated that Havertz has been making progress.<\/p>\n
\u201cKai Havertz is progressing really well and quite fast in the last few weeks,\u201d Arteta said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia<\/a>). \u201cWe are really positive, if everything continues like that, that he is going to be with us soon.\u201d<\/p>\n Havertz will undoubtedly be welcome back to Arsenal\u2019s lineup when ready, but it remains to be seen how he will fit in with the German national team. A favorite of head coach Julian Nagelsmann, Havertz was manning the striker position, but Nick Woltemade seems to be working toward winning that job.
