Officers searched the van before discovering the driver had left his keys, two phones and his building materials behind.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Following the incident on Friday morning (December 19), GMP <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/bury\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">Bury<\/a> shared an image on Saturday night with a message for the driver, should he wish to be &#8216;reunited&#8217; with his belongings. A GMP Bury spokesperson said: &#8220;Friday morning saw our Special Constables stop this van after observing the driver using a mobile phone whilst driving.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;The van stopped but the driver didn\u2019t &#8211; choosing instead to make a rapid exit on foot!
