Eden Camp, the modern history museum in North Yorkshire, have planted 250 wild cherry trees around the perimeter of the former prisoner of war camp.<\/p>\n
The trees were donated by CGI, one of the largest independent IT and business consulting services firms in the world.<\/p>\n
In addition, Eden Camp Veterans also received a \u00a3200 donation from the firm to further support their efforts for taking part in The Great Tommy Sleepout.<\/p>\n
On Monday 15 December, the trees were successfully planted, enhancing the museum\u2019s green spaces and reinforcing its commitment to a sustainable future.<\/p>\n
Howard Johnson, director at Eden Camp, commented: \u201cSustainability is at the heart of our future plans. These trees not only enhance our environment and support local biodiversity but serve as a living reminder of our duty to care for the planet. We\u2019re incredibly grateful to CGI IT UK Limited for their generous support.\u201d<\/p>\n
