\n\tRapper Nicki Minaj<\/a> made a surprise appearance at Turning Point USA\u2019s AmericaFest on Sunday, joining Erika Kirk on stage to bash California Gov. Gavin Newsom<\/a> and praise President Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen Kirk, the CEO of the conservative organization Turning Point USA and Charlie Kirk\u2019s widow, asked Minaj about the \u201cbiggest surprise\u201d she\u2019s learned from the current administration, she responded, \u201cI have the utmost respect and admiration for our president. I don\u2019t know if he even knows this, but he\u2019s given so many people hope.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBefore, she also took aim at Newsom, reading some of her past posts on X about the governor as Kirk laughed. \u201cIt only gets worse from here for you, buddy,\u201d Minaj said. \u201cIt\u2019s the end of the road for you, my love. Get on the nearest jet ski and let that beautiful hair blow in the wind. It will make you happier than this race that you will not win. Enjoy life. Peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cSuper Bass\u201d rapper has also recently lashed out at Newsom<\/a>, a possible 2028 Democratic presidential candidate, in part for his support of trans kids. <\/p>\n

\n\tAt the Turning Point USA event, she also read another one of her X posts to the crowd, saying, \u201cImagine being the guy running on wanting to see trans kids. Haha. Not even a trans ADULT would run on that. Normal adults wake up & think they want to see HEALTHY, SAFE, HAPPY kids. Not Gav. The Gav Nots. GavOUT. Send in the next guy, I\u2019m bored.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs Minaj has also appeared to align herself with Trump administration officials and policies in recent weeks, Kirk also asked about her reasoning for speaking out about politics<\/a> now.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI just got tired of being pushed around,\u201d she replied. \u201cI have something inside of me that\u2019s stronger than what\u2019s out there. So when you\u2019ve had enough, you realize, wait a minute, why do I even care about these people and what they think? Who are they? They don\u2019t even know who they are. So I\u2019m not going to back down anymore. I\u2019m not going to back down ever again.\u201d<\/p>\n
