A sex worker who lured a lonely man to the Britannia Hotel in Coventry<\/a> and violently robbed him has been pictured. Caprice Brown targeted the victim through the dating app Tinder.<\/p>\n He was contacted on Tinder by a woman named ‘Maia.’ But the person behind the dating app profile was actually Brown, who had arranged to meet him at the Britannia Hotel on Fairfax Street.<\/p>\n After a brief conversation in the room, Brown, Karissa Alfrez, and a third woman emerged from the bathroom, as reported by CoventryLive<\/a>. Brown was also involved in another ‘nasty’ incident at Jurys Inn in Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n She targeted a second man on dating app Badoo in July 2020, pretending her name was ‘Zara’. She met him at the Jurys Inn on Broad Street, bringing another woman with her, supposedly for her ‘personal safety.’<\/p>\n Brown tied the man up and brutally attacked him, pressing a hot iron against his body, Birmingham Crown Court<\/a> heard. She then used his bank card to buy a \u00a3999 iPhone from Argos<\/a>.<\/p>\n Brown was jailed for nine years at Birmingham Crown Court<\/a>. But the mum-of-one was told she would only serve up to 40 per cent of the term in jail.<\/p>\n Judge Simon Drew KC said the sentence was intended to ‘punish but not crush you.’ He said: \u201cI hope at the end you see your son while he is still a child. You will be back with him soon enough.\u201d<\/p>\n He told Brown: \u201cYour upbringing was extremely difficult, and I would be wholly unfair to you if I did not acknowledge that straight away and recognise that put you in a very difficult position as a child and going into adulthood.\u201d<\/p>\n Nevertheless, Judge Drew described the robberies as ‘really nasty’ as they involved taking advantage of lonely men during COVID<\/a>.
