Custom display cabinets are complemented by a selection of furniture, including pieces by Jorge Zalszupin and Lea Colombo. A glass vase by Venetian glassmaker Orsoni, founded in 1888, references the brand\u2019s Italian heritage.<\/p>\n<p>A dedicated display cabinet highlights Bottega Veneta\u2019s signature colour palette and the craftsmanship behind its Intrecciato leather weave, which was introduced 50 years ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-md-8 offset-md-1 article-content--texte\">The store also reflects the cultural history of the Meatpacking District and Bottega Veneta\u2019s longstanding ties to New York\u2019s creative community. An in-store library focused on poetry and painting features works such as Robert Rauschenberg\u2019s illustrations for Dante\u2019s Inferno, Etel Adnan\u2019s Between East &amp; West, and Ed Roberson\u2019s Road Poems, alongside a curated selection of artworks.<\/p>\n<p>The store carries the house\u2019s full men\u2019s and women\u2019s assortment, including bags, ready-to-wear, shoes and small leather goods, alongside eyewear, jewellery, fragrance and travel collections.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in Vicenza, Italy, in 1966, Bottega Veneta opened its first New York store on Madison Avenue in 1972.
