Liverpool has received a boost regarding a possible approach for Antoine Semenyo, after it was reported that the player is not prioritizing a possible move to Tottenham.<\/p>\n
Semenyo is being eyed by a number of Premier League<\/a> clubs ahead of the January transfer window, when the winger will be available for his \u00a365 million ($87 million) release clause<\/a>. Tottenham, Liverpool<\/a> and both Manchester clubs are the clubs that seem to be being linked with Semenyo most frequently, but The Athletic’s David Ornstein suggests that a move Tottenham is not high up on the player’s list of preferred next destinations.<\/p>\n “The names that are emerging as the leading contenders right now are Manchester City and Manchester United, in no particular order.
