An image has been released by police after a man was bitten and injured in a dog attack in Tameside<\/a>. Officers were called to the incident in Hyde on December 3.<\/p>\n

It was reported that the victim had been attacked on Alexandra Street at around 2.20pm. The man’s injuries were not described as serious. Greater Manchester Police<\/a> said the owner did not provide his name or address to the victim.<\/p>\n

The incident was reported to police who launched an investigation. An image of a man officers want to speak to has now been released as it is believed he could assist with ongoing enquiries.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: “Officers are appealing for information after a man was injured by a dog in an incident in Hyde<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n

“At around 2.20pm on 3 December, a man was bitten by a dog on Alexandra Street, with its owner not providing his name and address to the victim. The incident was reported to police the next day.<\/p>\n

“Thankfully, the injuries were not serious. Officers have now released an image of a man they would like to talk to, as it is believed that he could help with their enquiries.<\/p>\n
