Three people have been arrested after police raided two houses in Prescot<\/a> and Huyton<\/a>. The arrests were made today, Tuesday December 23, during a joint operation between Merseyside Police’s Project Medusa and Police Scotland.<\/p>\n Officers found a significant amount of suspected class A controlled drugs and a large amount of cash and drugs paraphernalia. Following the operation, three people were detained. A 38-year-old man from Whiston was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of criminal property.<\/a><\/p>\n A 31-year-old woman from Whiston was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, possession with intent to supply class a drugs and possession of criminal property.<\/a><\/p>\n A 41-year-old man from Huyton <\/a>was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of class A drugs.<\/p>\n Detective Sergeant Peter Sloan from Merseyside\u2019s Project Medusa<\/a> said: \u201cNo area or community is immune to county lines drug supply, which is why intelligence\u2011led operations like this are essential to disrupt involved in the distribution of harmful drugs.<\/p>\n \u201cToday\u2019s action, delivered alongside Police Scotland, resulted in three arrests and the seizure of significant quantities of illegal drugs.
