An explosion at a nursing home in Pennsylvania<\/a> has left residents trapped as rescue crews rush to find possible victims of the fiery blast.<\/p>\n The explosion happened Tuesday before 3 p.m. ET at the Silver Lake Nursing Home in Bristol Township, about 30 minutes northeast of Philadelphia<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe understand that there are people trapped inside,\u201d said Ruth Miller, a Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency spokesperson, per The Associated Press<\/a>. The AP has described the incident as a gas explosion. <\/p>\n Emergency crews raced to the nursing home to search for people who may have gone missing in the blast. Video footage from local outlets showed cop cars, ambulances and fire trucks with flashing lights. <\/p>\n WPVI<\/a>\u2019s cameras filmed flames and black smoke billowing from the nursing home.
