Both Kurakka and Plymouth Brethren have shown promise, but they could do with settling better if they are to fulfil their potential. Altareq (second choice) could leave his Wood Ditton debut well behind now upped in distance, but DESERT SHADOW<\/strong> might be worth chancing. Although beaten around 13l in two runs in Dubai in January, those were in quality conditions events, and this should be less demanding.<\/p>\n

This looks to be a formality for ITS TIM<\/strong> after his second successive win at Brighton on Tuesday, where he showed he had plenty in hand of the handicapper.<\/p>\n

Despite being a maiden, Drouthy Neebor had good placed form last year and can chase the favourite home. Forglen has made the frame on all three AW starts and may do so again. <\/p>\n

Last season\u2019s Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes winner\/Cheveley Park third Arabian Dusk is, on BHA ratings, the best filly to have contested this race in its five-year existence, and she looks a strong contender following her encouraging third in the Nell Gwyn 16 days ago.<\/p>\n

She escapes a penalty for her Group 2 success, but LADY WITH THE LAMP<\/strong> has two Listed wins on her CV and also comes here unpenalised.<\/p>\n

Joseph O\u2019Brien\u2019s filly was a big price, but there was no fluke about her Cork success last month, and there was a lot to like about the way she moved into contention in that race. She could progress further, is back against her own sex today and is marginally preferred. Star Of Mehmas has a wide stall to overcome on her reappearance, and Running Queen may prove best of the rest.<\/p>\n

A win for either of the two Stuart Williams-trained runners could be easily explained, while Bishop\u2019s Crown is on a dangerous mark and Monsieur Beaulieu (second choice) looks sure to go well once more.<\/p>\n

BABA REZA<\/strong> has more to prove, given he has been absent for nine months, but he returns at a track where he has a strong record and with his yard in fine form. His Haydock win last summer was striking, and he still looks feasibly treated.<\/p>\n

The class-dropping Bill Plumb is interesting with a tongue-tie fitted and Rossa Ryan taking over in the saddle, while Instant Bond and Kodi Red need a market check.<\/p>\n

NOBLE CONSORT (NAP)<\/strong> has been on an upward trajectory since dropped in trip and fitted with a visor, though, and he can defy a 6lb rise for last month\u2019s impressive Southwell success.<\/p>\n

Kilteel is the only previous winner in the field, and Monday\u2019s lacklustre run can be excused as she was messed about at the start and poorly placed thereafter. She can go well in new headgear, but My Boy Harry and AIM FOR THE BULL<\/strong> are preferred.<\/p>\n

Marginal preference is for Mike Murphy\u2019s runner, who was keeping on steadily here last month, finishing hot on the heels of one who has won since.<\/p>\n
