But\u00a0you know what\u2019s not so wonderful about the festive break? Trying to catch a train. Major stations get unbearably\u00a0packed as people try to dash\u00a0out of London in time for Christmas, and\u00a0don\u2019t even get us started on how busy the tube gets on New Year\u2019s Eve. On top of all that, the festive period is a favourite among rail operators for planned engineering works.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To add to the headache of Christmas travelling this year Liverpool Street Station is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/news\/londons-busiest-train-station-liverpool-street-will-shut-for-8-days-over-christmas-and-new-year-2025-closure-dates-and-affected-services-102825\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">going to be shut from December 25 until January 1<\/a>\u00a0for works, which will have knock on effects on several tube lines, and part of the Piccadilly line will be closed for upgrades.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a full roundup of\u00a0London\u2019s train closures, cancellations and service changes you should prepare for across Christmas and New Year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Full list of London tube and train closures for December 24 2025 &#8211;
