New details have emerged about the deaths of Rob Reiner<\/a> and Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were discovered on Sunday 14 December in their home in Brentwood, Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Their death certificates have been released by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, obtained by TMZ<\/a> and reported by multiple US outlets. They record that Rob Reiner\u2019s body was found at 15.45, and Singer Reiner\u2019s at 15.46. The cause of death for both is given as \u201cmultiple sharp force injuries\u201d with the circumstances described as \u201chomicide\u201d and \u201cwith knife, by another\u201d.<\/p>\n

The interval between the onset of the attack and death is given as \u201cminutes\u201d, while the time and date of death is recorded as \u201cunknown\u201d.<\/p>\n

Under \u201ctype of disposition\u201d the certificate records \u201ccremate\/residence\u201d, but there is no confirmation that cremation has been carried out.<\/p>\n

Two of the Reiners\u2019 children released a new statement on Tuesday<\/a> saying that a memorial service is being planned. \u201cJake and Romy Reiner remain grateful for the outpouring of love and support they have received. They will share information about a memorial service honouring their parents at a later date.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Reiners\u2019 son Nick Reiner appeared in court on 17 December<\/a> but did not enter a plea.
