Valve hasn\u2019t acknowledged the outage publicly, but SteamDB\u2019s <a class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/steamstat.us\/\" data-i13n=\"cpos:1;pos:1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:unofficial Steam Status page;cpos:1;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">unofficial Steam Status page<\/a> reports that the Steam Store, Steam Community, and Steam Web APIs are all offline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 leading-7 text-[18px] md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0 charcoal-color\"><a class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/downdetector.com\/status\/steam\/\" data-i13n=\"cpos:2;pos:1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:DownDetector;cpos:2;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">DownDetector<\/a> received over 6,000 outage reports around 1:15PM ET, and Steam is also inaccessible from Valve\u2019s mobile apps. The outage appears to be affecting APIs for Valve\u2019s online games, like Team Fortress 2, Dota 2 and Counterstrike 2, as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 leading-7 text-[18px] md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0 charcoal-color\">Steam\u2019s <a class=\"link \" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/gaming\/pc\/steam-is-back-online-after-outage-170514965.html\" data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" data-ylk=\"slk:last major outage;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last major outage<\/a> was in October, when the store and online services were unavailable for an hour.
