Police and fire crews attended the scene on Princess Road near <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/hulme\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">Hulme<\/a> at around 6pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Crews were called to reports of the car blaze and quickly attended the scene. Dramatic pictures showed the car alight in the middle of the road as congestion built in the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The fire service blocked the area and extinguished the fire, which caused damage to the vehicle. No injuries were reported in the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: \u201cJust after 6pm this evening (Wednesday 24th December), one fire engine from <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/moss-side\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">Moss side<\/a> fire station was called to reports of a vehicle fire on Princess Road, Manchester.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/0_JH_MEN_241225_FIRE1.jpg\" alt=\"Police and fire crews attended the blaze on Princess Road\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Police and fire crews attended the blaze on Princess Road(Image: skye.mckinlayx)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cThe crew arrived quickly at the scene.
