King Charles and Queen Camilla are marking the second anniversary of their Coronation with a special tree-planting ceremony at Windsor Castle today.<\/p>\n

The royal couple will be joined by King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden for the engagement.<\/p>\n

The Swedish monarchs have travelled to Windsor Castle for the occasion.<\/p>\n

Together, they will plant a Swedish oak tree in the Home Park of Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n

It comes after King Charles was diagnosed with cancer less than a year after his Coronation.<\/p>\n

King Charles and Queen Camilla recently undertook a State Visit to Italy earlier this month.<\/p>\n

The tree-planting ceremony comes just one day after the King spoke candidly about his cancer journey.<\/p>\n

The royal couple hosted a Community Based Cancer Support Reception at which the King delivered a heartfelt speech.<\/p>\n

They welcomed guests to raise awareness around cancer and thank those who support patients across the UK.<\/p>\n

In his speech, the King spoke openly about his own experience with cancer, offering a rare glimpse into his health struggles.<\/p>\n

Charles highlighted that 390,000 people receive new cancer diagnoses in the UK annually, equating to over 1,000 new cases every day.<\/p>\n

“As one among those statistics myself, I can vouch for the fact that it can also be an experience that brings into sharp focus the very best of humanity,” the King said.<\/p>\n
