Morgan Rogers could match yet another Aston Villa record against Chelsea on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n Rogers has scored four goals in his last two games<\/a>, with superb braces coming against both West Ham and Man United in recent weeks.<\/p>\n Aston Villa\u2019s 2-1 win over Man United<\/a> on Sunday has them keeping pace with league leaders Arsenal, and the former Middlesbrough man has been their star player during the Villans\u2019 10-match winning run in all competitions.<\/p>\n Up next for Villa and Rogers<\/a> is a trip to Stamford Bridge, and if the former Middlesbrough man nets another couple of goals, he would achieve something that hasn\u2019t been done for 27 years.<\/p>\n Rogers\u2019 slow start to the season<\/a> led to doubts over his potential place in the England squad, but now he looks set to start at the 2026 World Cup.<\/p>\n Rogers has been ruthless in front of goal<\/a> and is arguably the best player in the Premier League right now, and his initial \u00a38million fee from Middlesbrough is looking like one of the best transfers in the last few seasons.<\/p>\n The 23-year-old has been directly involved in more Premier League goals than any other English player across the opening 17 matchdays this season (10 \u2013 seven goals, three assists).<\/p>\n And he could become the third Villan to net two-or-more goals in three consecutive appearances in the competition after Dean Saunders (1992) and Dion Dublin (1998).<\/p>\n Morgan Rogers\u2019 record at Aston Villa<\/p>\n According to FotMob<\/a>, he has created 16 chances in the top flight and registered 67 touches in the opposition box. <\/p>\n Villa<\/a> have beaten Chelsea in two of their last four trips to Stamford Bridge, and there is little doubt among fans that their winning run can\u2019t continue.<\/p>\n The area Chelsea are badly struggling in<\/p>\n The Blues have been fantastic at times this season, although despite their hard work in midfield, they lack a cutting edge up front.<\/p>\n Enzo Fern\u00e1ndez has created more chances from open play (24) and made more passes breaking the opponent\u2019s defensive line (17) than any other Chelsea player in the Premier League this season.<\/p>\n Chelsea\u2019s top scorers in the league this season have netted just five goals (Pedro Neto and Joao Pedro). <\/p>\n After 17 games of a Premier League campaign, only on three occasions has Chelsea\u2019s top scorer \u2013 or scorers \u2013 netted fewer at this stage.
