Tom Heaton has now dropped his powerful verdict on Senne Lammens after Manchester United made four key signings back in the summer transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Senne Lammens<\/a> closed out the Red Devils\u2019 busy summer spending spree after Manchester United<\/a> signed the 23-year-old Belgian shot-stopper on deadline day.<\/p>\n

United paid Belgian Pro League outfit Royal Antwerp an initial transfer fee of \u00a318.1m and agreed to add-ons to bring Lammens to Old Trafford<\/a> back in September.<\/p>\n

Lammens has impressed at United so far after he ascended to the No 1 role, with Andre Onana<\/a> offloaded from the Premier League club in a loan deal to Trabzonspor.<\/p>\n

The Belgium international has made 11 appearances for United since his arrival from Royal Antwerp and Lammens has kept one clean sheet in the 2025-26 campaign.<\/p>\n

Before Manchester United signed Senne Lammens<\/a>, the Red Devils had been busy early in the summer transfer window after the end of their 2024-25 campaign.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils splashed out on Matheus Cunha<\/a> back in June after United triggered his release clause and signed him for a \u00a362.5m transfer fee from Wolves.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Manchester United\u2019s official podcast, Tom Heaton<\/a> admitted that the 26-year-old former Wolves ace has impressed both on the pitch and off it.<\/p>\n

When asked about United\u2019s four major summer signings, he said on the Inside Carrington<\/a> show: \u201cYeah, they\u2019ve been excellent, actually.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, [they] all bring something different. I think, you know, obviously Matheus, [a] fantastic footballer, [a] little bit of a maverick, the way he plays.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s difficult to play against, but he\u2019s also brought, you know, real, real good energy into the dressing room, to be honest. He\u2019s been superb.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following United\u2019s signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves<\/a>, the Red Devils ramped up their efforts to land Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> from Premier League side Brentford in July.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils\u2019 third bid was finally accepted for the 26-year-old French-born winger, with United paying the Bees an initial fee of \u00a365m and agreeing to add-ons.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Bryan Mbeumo, Heaton added: \u201cBryan, [he was] obviously brilliant at Brentford, really, really effective in what he does.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I say, hard to play against. And a real good human being. All four signings have brought something different into the club.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tom Heaton on what he has noticed from Benjamin Sesko and Senne Lammens at Man Utd<\/strong><\/p>\n

With Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo both through the doors at Old Trafford, United stepped up their pursuit of a striker and eventually signed Benjamin Sesko<\/a>.<\/p>\n

United landed Benjamin Sesko back in August<\/a> ahead of Premier League side Newcastle, with the Red Devils paying an initial \u00a366.3m fee in a deal worth \u00a373.7m.<\/p>\n

When discussing the former RB Leipzig striker, Heaton continued: \u201cI think Ben, up front, you know, really does look the part.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019ll be fantastic for the football club. Real good lad.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Heaton said that his close interactions with United No 1 Lammens left him \u201creally impressed\u201d with how the Belgian has handled his \u201cbusiness\u201d at the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd obviously, Senne, who I\u2019ve obviously worked really close with,\u201d Heaton explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I\u2019ve said before, been really, really impressed with how he\u2019s gone about his business. It\u2019s not easy as a 23-year-old coming to playing goal at Man United.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, a lot of people have spoken about the chance he [has by] playing as a goalie at this club.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut he\u2019s embraced that really well so far and I\u2019ve been impressed.\u201d<\/p>\n

United are back in Premier League action on Friday evening against Newcastle, with the Boxing Day clash slated for an 8pm kick-off time at Old Trafford in the UK.<\/p>\n
