And I love getting lost in London which is easy to do here.  <\/p>\n<p>The first place I go in London is&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I love to walk through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/topic\/borough-market\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Borough Market<\/a>, but besides the good food, I like going to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/going-out\/attractions\/london-bridge-borough-market-best-restaurants-bars-pubs-a4064811.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clink<\/a>. It\u2019s an OG prison museum. Back in the day, if the Thames overflowed its banks, it would run into the basement of the Clink. It&#8217;s so fascinating.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Borough-Yards-368yyuoj.jpeg\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1333\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"sc-eqUAAy kRUyJB\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Borough Yards is next to the market<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Lynch<\/p>\n<p>I went to this place called Cahoots a few times. Then I realised it was a touristy place. But just around the corner, there\u2019s a place in the basement that is super 1920s and nobody is ever there.  <\/p>\n<p>What shops do you rely on? <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/futurelondon\/culturecity\/james-smith-sons-umbrellas-anna-fargher-the-umbrella-mouse-new-oxford-street-a4171861.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">James Smith &amp; Sons<\/a>. That place is the bomb. You never knew you needed an umbrella with a bulldog\u2019s head and then you find a cane with a tiger on the top.  <\/p>\n<p>What would you do if you were Mayor of London for the day?<\/p>\n<p>Is this a bad time to announce my campaign to run? The first thing I\u2019d do is throw a big party. There\u2019s a lot of difficult things going on in the world and it is the job of an army of people to make you afraid, and they do a good job at it. But I\u2019d give them the week off and have a parade of joy. It would go deep into the night because people do what they want in the night. Food and drink and dance.  <\/p>\n<p>And I\u2019d have horses everywhere. This town needs more horses.  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/1766724208_66_newFile-7.jpg\" width=\"1597\" height=\"1064\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"sc-eqUAAy kRUyJB\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Paul Winch-Furness <\/p>\n<p>The best meal I\u2019ve had in London is&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I like local places but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/going-out\/bars\/david-ellis-negronis-brutto-bar-review-b1108185.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brutto in Farringdon<\/a> is really cool. It\u2019s off to the side.
