The totally out-of-this-world immersive experience, named\u00a0Planetarium Go UK, will arrive in the UK from Spain for a limited time only, bringing its \u2018cutting-edge\u2019 pop-up planetarium to the ex-power station.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Planetarium Go UK promises high-resolution\u00a0projections inside a \u2018premium structure\u2019, using state-of-the-art tech to showcase\u00a0a programme covering all things from the final frontier. Wanting to make astronomy accessible to all, the pop-up\u00a0is going to be family-friendly, with science-led storytelling that will\u00a0focus on STEM inspiration, sustainability and scientific outreach.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Perfect for budding astronomers, the temporary experience will display various 20- to 30-minute films that explore and educate about\u00a0galaxies, planets and cosmic phenomena.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jos\u00e9 Jim\u00e9nez, chief executive\u00a0of Planetarium Go UK and Astro\u00c1ndalus, said: \u2018Our purpose is to bring science to more places and offer immersive experiences that spark curiosity and inspire STEM pathways from an early age. Planetarium Go UK blends education and excitement to transform learning into a memorable experience. We work with communities, schools and local organisations to make science accessible to everyone, bringing a mobile planetarium to cities that do not yet have one.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Planetarium Go UK is open from January 30 2026 until\u00a0March 1 in Power Station Park.
