Princess Eugenie<\/strong>, 35, \u201carrived with the others, walking at the very heart of the royal group as though cocooned by them to show she was still embraced, protected, and even cherished despite her parents\u2019 forced absence,\u201d body language expert Judi James<\/strong> told the outlet on Friday, December 26 of the princesses\u2019 walk to St. Mary Magdalene Church with the rest of their family.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Firm colluded\u201d on the \u201cwell-planned choreography\u201d \u2014 noting that Prince Edward<\/strong>, 61, even left his own family to walk with Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank<\/strong>, 39, on the traditional December 25 walkabout in front of fans.<\/p>\n

Eugenie\u2019s expression seemed \u201cperformed, sustained, planned, and significant,\u201d James told the Daily Mail. \u201cIt looked like a message of intent in terms of resilience and confidence in the face of her father\u2019s ongoing scandal and banishment from the line-up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Princess Beatrice<\/strong>, 37, kept a \u201clower profile\u201d and only joined the back of the group with her husband, Edoardo Mappeli Mozzi<\/strong>, 42.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid Beatrice prefer to appear less committed?\u201d asked James. \u201cThere were hints Beatrice might not have felt as assured.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unlike the rest of the royals, both princesses avoided well-wishers. \u201cEugenie fiddled with the buttons of her coat in an auto-contact barrier ritual that suggested a desire to self-protect, hinting at some fear or worry about the fans\u2019 responses during this more intimate part of the outing,\u201d James pointed out.<\/p>\n

But their wide smiles on the church steps suggested the sisters wanted to \u201chold their heads up in public\u201d in spite of their father\u2019s<\/a> fall from grace.<\/p>\n

King Charles III<\/strong> stripped Andrew of his titles earlier this year amid continued speculation over his connections to late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein<\/strong>. Andrew has long denied any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

As Examiner previously reported<\/a>, Charles ensured the princesses\u2019 titles and standing would remain intact as part of a \u201csecret deal\u201d to get Andrew to finally give up his lease on the Royal Lodge.<\/p>\n

A source told the Daily Mail that Charles is also \u201cvery fond\u201d of his nieces and believes they shouldn\u2019t be punished for their father\u2019s scandal.<\/p>\n
