Today, his wife Elizabeth Ruth Robinson posted a photo of Mr Robinson alongside heart emojis saying: \u201cMy darling husband. We finally have you home.\u201d<\/p>\n
Community Rescue Service (CRS), K9 Search & Rescue NI, Lough Neagh Rescue, Foyle Search & Rescue, East Coast Divers, Meath River Rescue and members of the public with sonar, including \u201csome from England\u201d, all played their part in extensive search efforts.<\/p>\n
CRS said: \u201cYet more sad news. Over the past six weeks CRS had been deployed on a daily basis to the Portadown area to an ongoing search alongside our NISAR colleagues from Lough Neagh Rescue.<\/p>\n
\u201cSearches were also conducted by NISAR colleagues from the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Sky Watch NI, Search & Rescue Dog Association – SARDA Ireland North and Foyle Search and Rescue<\/p>\n
\u201cSearches were also conducted by teams from outside NI, local river users and other members of the public.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe regret to inform you that earlier today a body believed to be that of the missing person, was located by a search team from RoI who travelled north to assist in the ongoing operation.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe management and volunteers of the Community Rescue Service extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the deceased.\u201d<\/p>\n

DUP MP for Upper Bann Carla Lockhart offered her condolences to the family.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cTruly devastating for the Robinson family at this Christmas time. My thoughts and prayers are very much with them.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey have lived for the last 42 days as a nightmare, and whilst there is a sense of relief they now know, the finality of all of this hits hard.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have been liaising with both them and the police on an ongoing basis for the last month.<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir resilience throughout all of this has been amazing. At least now they can put Andrew to rest.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to thank all those who have helped in any way, especially all the search teams who were relentless in their search of Andrew. There were those who went over and above and the family know who they are loved.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo Ruth and the boys, and the whole family – you have been a credit to Andrew and never gave up hope. We will be remembering you in the days and weeks ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n
Her party colleague Jonathan Buckley also shared the post from Mrs Robinson.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s understood that formal identification of the body will take place.<\/p>\n
On Christmas Eve K9 Search & Rescue said its volunteers were back in Portadown, continuing searches of the River Bann for Mr Robinson.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the stillness of the morning, teams searched on, driven by the hope of bringing some form of answer to those waiting at home,\u201d it posted.<\/p>\n
