A new striker seems to be on the agenda at Leeds this winter.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Several names have already emerged as targets, as Leeds hold talks over Ruben Vargas<\/a> of Sevilla and also give consideration to Tyrique George<\/a> at Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Another Chelsea forward is also said to be a target, as Leeds keep an eye on Raheem Sterling<\/a> \u2013 who Enzo Maresca has totally banished from his side.<\/p>\n

Ayase Ueda has also been linked with a move to Elland Road<\/a> this winter, but Dutch news outlet 1908<\/a> now share a disappointing update for Leeds<\/a> on this front.<\/p>\n

It was TEAMtalk<\/a> who claimed that Leeds are tracking the Japan international, who has remarkably scored 18 goals in just 17 Eredivisie appearances so far this season.<\/p>\n

However, 1908 state that Feyenoord aren\u2019t worried about losing the \u20ac10m<\/a> (\u00a39m) Ueda in the winter transfer window, not even to Liverpool \u2013 who are also said to be keen on the striker after Alexander Isak broke his leg.<\/p>\n

The Dutch news outlet explain that Feyenoord will not entertain a sale as they sit second in the Eredivisie, and do not want to dent their hopes of UEFA Champions League qualification.<\/p>\n

The Republic of Ireland international can boast 16 goals in 22 appearances so far this season, in what has been an exceptional campaign.<\/p>\n

Leeds are tracking Parrott<\/a> and he is an option this winter, and crucially, there has been no update like the one on Ueda to dissuade the 49ers from making a move.<\/p>\n

A deal certainly seems possible for Leeds, so while a switch to Yorkshire now feels unlikely for Ueda this winter, his fellow Eredivisie poacher could end up making the move himself. <\/p>\n
