Meghan Markle<\/a>\u2019s latest podcast<\/a> appearance has stirred up a storm \u2014 and GB News<\/a> presenter Nana Akua<\/a> is leading the charge with some scathing remarks. The Duchess of Sussex made headlines after reportedly using her HRH title during a heartfelt interview on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, and Nana didn\u2019t hold back.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt just feels like everything is a performance,\u201d she said on air. \u201cI just can\u2019t bear it. She\u2019s allegedly using this title when she shouldn\u2019t be. It\u2019s pretty straightforward\u201d, reported GB News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This podcast <\/a>was a rare one for Meghan \u2014 her first time being interviewed on someone else\u2019s show \u2014 and while much of the chat focused on family, love, and life outside the palace, it\u2019s that subtle use of her royal title that\u2019s got people talking. Since stepping back from official royal duties in 2020, Meghan and Prince Harry agreed not to use their HRH styles publicly. So for critics, this moment felt like overstepping.<\/p>\n

Royal commentator Kara Kennedy weighed in too, pointing to Meghan\u2019s reference to life in the Royal Family<\/a> as being \u201cin the trenches\u201d. Kennedy didn\u2019t hold back either, saying, \u201cI think most would disagree,\u201d and added, \u201cShe knows this. She doesn\u2019t use her HRH titles for commercial purposes, but this feels pretty commercial.\u201d<\/p>\n

The interview itself was filmed in a cosy, stripped-back setting \u2014 Meghan wore a simple black jumper with her children\u2019s names stitched on the collar, no make-up, just rocking chairs and raw emotion. At one point, she even wiped away tears while reflecting on her journey and life with Prince Harry.<\/p>\n

\u201cH, that man loves me so much, and you know, look what we\u2019ve built,\u201d she said. \u201cWe have built a beautiful life and we have two healthy, beautiful children.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also shared that their seventh wedding anniversary is just around the corner, giving fans a rare glimpse into their private life.<\/p>\n

Since stepping back from the Royal Family, Meghan\u2019s kept busy with her lifestyle brand As Ever, her own podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, and even her Netflix docuseries With Love, Meghan. When asked about a possible memoir, she teased, \u201cYes, maybe, for sure,\u201d before adding, \u201cI\u2019ve got a lot more life to live before I\u2019m there.\u201d<\/p>\n
