Cristiano Ronaldo was left raging on Saturday despite leading Al Nassr to a record-breaking win in the Saudi Pro League.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The footballing icon<\/a> netted twice in his side’s 3-0 victory against Al Akhdoud, but he still wasn’t happy on the pitch.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo scored his two goals in the first half, netting in the 31st minute and in the third minute of stoppage time before the break.<\/p>\n

His 39th and 40th goals of the year had set him up perfectly for another hat-trick in the Middle East<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And he thought he had scored it just after the hour mark.<\/p>\n

The Portuguese legend scored his third of the game with a finish from a great cross, but a VAR check followed. <\/p>\n

It was then found that Sultan Al-Ghannam, who crossed in for Ronaldo for the goal, was offside in the build-up.<\/p>\n

That denial of what would have been his seventh hat-trick in the Saudi Pro League<\/a> then led to frustration boiling over.<\/p>\n

Footage showed Ronaldo with his arms out wide, as he screamed seemingly towards the linesman on the pitch.<\/p>\n

He raged at the decision and continued to shout as play carried on behind him after the disallowed goal.<\/p>\n

Al Nassr would go on to score again through ex-Chelsea<\/a> and Barcelona<\/a> forward Joao Felix<\/a> in the 94th minute.<\/p>\n

The win was their 10th straight, which is a record, and they remained at the top of the table with a 100 per cent win rate.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo’s frustration at his hat-trick goal being ruled out may well have been heightened due to the stakes.<\/p>\n

The 39-year-old has scored at least one hat-trick<\/a> in every year between 2010 and 2024.<\/p>\n

But after 15 years of consistency<\/a>, he is now at major risk of losing his streak in 2025.<\/p>\n

After being denied his third goal against Al Akhdoud, he only has one more game this year to score three.<\/p>\n

Al Nassr takes on Al Ettifaq on December 30 in what is the club’s final fixture of 2025, right at the end of the year.<\/p>\n

So, all eyes will be on Ronaldo as he looks to continue his incredible run next week.<\/p>\n

The rage from Ronaldo came in front of one of his former teammates, as Nani<\/a> was in attendance.<\/p>\n

The ex-Manchester United<\/a> winger was filmed exiting the stadium with his old friend’s shirt in his hands, before he posted pictures of them on social media post-match.<\/p>\n

Nani played 130 games with his Portuguese compatriot throughout his impressive footballing career. <\/p>\n

The pair combined at Man United from 2007 to 2009, winning the Premier League<\/a> and Champions League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They also represented their country, Portugal, together at the World Cup<\/a> and European Championships.<\/p>\n
