{"id":660650,"date":"2025-12-29T16:54:16","date_gmt":"2025-12-29T16:54:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/660650\/"},"modified":"2025-12-29T16:54:16","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T16:54:16","slug":"edinburghs-trams-to-run-all-night-for-free-on-hogmanay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/660650\/","title":{"rendered":"Edinburgh&#8217;s trams to run all night for free on Hogmanay"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The return of the popular scheme, which has been in place since 2016, comes as operator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heraldscotland.com\/topics\/edinburgh-trams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Edinburgh Trams<\/a> has announced a series of festive road closures.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Beginning at 6 pm on 30 December, the tramway will close at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heraldscotland.com\/news\/25622762.plan-edinburgh-princes-street-rejected\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Princes Street<\/a> and St Andrew Square due to preparations for the annual street party.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\"\/>Edinburgh&#8217;s Hogmanay has become world-famous.
