A woman was found dead at a major entertainment complex just days after Christmas<\/a>, it has been confirmed.<\/p>\n Emergency services, including police and ambulances, rushed to Resorts World in Solihull after reports of an unresponsive person yesterday, Dec 28.<\/p>\n Calls were made from around 1.30pm, with police arriving to find the woman had died at the scene.<\/p>\n Read more: <\/strong>Birmingham’s ‘memory man’ who has caught 3,000 wanted criminals so far with special talent<\/a><\/p>\n A guest at the Genting Hotel, who did not wish to be named, said she was staying there when the woman died.<\/p>\n She told BirminghamLive: “Yesterday on December 28, 2025 at Resorts World in Birmingham<\/a> at their hotel, I was staying there on the 3rd floor, there were a lot of police and ambulances.”<\/p>\n West Midlands Ambulance Service<\/a> said three ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to an address near Pendigo Way at 1.31pm.<\/p>\n A spokeswoman said: “On arrival crews found a woman.<\/p>\n “Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene.”<\/p>\n West Midlands Police confirmed her death is not being treated as suspicious. The case will now be referred to the coroner.<\/p>\n A statement from West Midlands Police<\/a> read: “We were called to Pendigo Way, Solihull<\/a>, at around 1.35pm yesterday (28 Dec) to reports that a person had been found unresponsive.<\/p>\n “Sadly, a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n “We are not treating her death as suspicious and a file will now be prepared for the coroner.<\/p>\n “Our thoughts remain with her loved ones and everyone who knew her.”<\/p>\n Anyone can contact Samaritans FREE any time from any phone on 116 123, even a mobile without credit.
