Police have been given extra powers to deal with anti-social behaviour in Port Talbot<\/a> following a rise in reports of problems<\/p>\n An emergency 48-hour dispersal order is in place for the area around Green Park Street which allows officers to instruct anybody who is causing – or is likely to cause – harassment, alarm or distress to others to leave the area, and gives them the power to seize any items suspected of being used to cause anti-social behaviour.<\/p>\n South Wales Police<\/a> said the order was a “preventative measure” following an increase reports of anti-social behaviour in the area.
