\n\tPeople noted<\/a> that the sisters wanted to show a united front with the monarch despite Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor\u2019s ongoing Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The outlet explained that their appearance \u201cmarked a notable shift \u2014 and a visible show of alignment with the wider royal family\u201d instead of going to Royal Lodge with their father.<\/p>\n

\n\tShuter\u2019s source claimed that Charles and William are now \u201cat war\u201d over the appearance because it created more \u201cexposure\u201d for the royal family with the never-ending Epstein issues. \u201cCharles doesn\u2019t like being told what not to do,\u201d a second insider added. \u201cThis quickly became about authority. He made the call even knowing William objected.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe father-son butting heads is starting to gain traction as royal experts are now talking openly about William\u2019s temperament<\/a>. Robert Jobson, author of the upcoming book, The Windsor Legacy: A Royal Dynasty of Secrets, Scandal, and Survival<\/a>, describes the future heir to the throne as prone to \u201cmood swings\u201d and \u201cover-assertive with his father.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn The Telegraph\u2018s The Daily T podcast<\/a> on November 28, Jobson expanded his thoughts on the Prince of Wales, \u201cHe\u2019s tricky,\u201d the author said of William. \u201cI think that there\u2019s no doubt that the king used to get on better with Harry [than William].\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued, \u201c[William] can be quite, not controlling, but he\u2019s a bit tricky. He\u2019s got a bit of a temper.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Epstein scandal is going to continue into 2026, and it would help Charles and William to be aligned on the topic, especially as critics continue to question the royal family\u2019s relevancy.<\/a><\/p>\n
