A POPULAR Filipino eatery has set up shop at the Barras in Glasgow.<\/p>\n

Josie Pops Kitchen attracted attention among the city\u2019s foodies as it held pop-ups at the Hutch.<\/p>\n

But after high demand for exotic dishes from the southeast Asian country, Josie Popera has set up a new spot on Suffolk Street.<\/p>\n

Iconic Filipino<\/a> dishes that will be served up include BBQ pork skewers and chicken inasal.<\/p>\n

The passionate cook previously took part in Britain\u2019s Best Home Cook in 2018.<\/p>\n

Josie said: \u201cIf you\u2019re craving a wee Filipino BBQ fix, you\u2019ll find me every weekend at the Barras Market.<\/p>\n

Josie was born in the Philippines but has lived in Scotland for the past 15 years.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, a popular cafe dubbed \u201cthe birthplace of Harry Potter<\/a>\u201d has reopened four years after a devastating fire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Elephant House Cafe in Edinburgh<\/a> city centre officially opened its doors once again today.<\/p>\n

It comes after firefighters spent over 26 hours battling a huge blaze at the George IV Bridge venue in August 2021.<\/p>\n
