Three weeks seems like chaos&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The people of Wirral appear to be split on major changes that could be coming to their bin collections. To <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/council-tax-raised-wirral-could-33078559\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">balance its budget<\/a> from April 2026, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/wirral\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">Wirral<\/a> Council has been looking at a number of options for cost-cutting. This includes<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/bin-collections-reviewed-merseyside-council-33042329\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\"> a review of bin collections<\/a> in light of government-mandated changes to include the recycling of more dry materials as well as food waste. A recent council report said: \u201cThis review will consider operational savings, environmental impact, and resident needs, supported by a comprehensive communications and engagement plan.\u201d Food waste collections are being brought in across England and have to be provided from April 2026. Every year, Ofsted inspects <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/top-ranked-merseyside-schools-gcse-32699448\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\">schools across England<\/a> looking at the quality of education, behaviour, the development of pupils, school leadership, and safe guarding.
