We asked a lot of them.

“We’ll get them re-energised for Tuesday night. I don’t think you need a lot of motivation to go to Ibrox and play.

“We’ll have energy. We’ll make changes in the team. We’ll freshen it up. We’ll try and utilise the squad and try and keep this good run going.”

Robinson, whose team are now unbeaten in five games, added: “There’s a few tired legs, so I do need to freshen it up.

“We’ve obviously got Mark O’Hara back again, (he’s) trained now for two or three weeks. It may be an opportunity for him.

“Big Mika, we thought may be better suited at Ibrox, given there’s a link-up to the game. He’s certainly in contention to start.

“It’s up to me to get the team right for Tuesday.”

The game will close a special year for St Mirren, who secured a third consecutive top-six finish and won their fifth major trophy.

Robinson said: “Me and my wife were walking our dogs the other day and we were talking, saying ‘what a year’.

“There were periods in that year where you thought we were never going to get to that stage. We weren’t going to get top six, but we did. Proved everybody wrong again.

“The cup competition and obviously winning it was an absolute highlight.

“It’s been a year that the football club will remember for a long, long time. The goal for 2026 is to try and catch the teams in front of us, keep this run going and try and get as many points as we can to look towards the top six and make sure of our safety in this division.”

STV News is now on WhatsApp

Get all the latest news from around the country

Follow STV News Follow STV News on WhatsApp

Scan the QR code on your mobile device for all the latest news from around the country

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson is set to freshen up his team for their Ibrox trip after admitting…

[7826
748,918,4884,712,16,15
0":"post-661353","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-glasgow","8":"tag-britain","9":"tag-glasgow","10":"tag-great-britain","11":"tag-scotland","12":"tag-uk","13":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
