Chris Wilder insists Sheffield United are approaching the play-offs with positivity as they look to end the season strongly against Blackburn Rovers.<\/p>\n

Rovers need to beat the Blades at Bramall Lane to stand any chance of finishing in the top-six. Depending on results elsewhere, victory could set-up a two-leg battle against Wilder’s side.<\/p>\n

That adds an interesting wrinkle to the fixture in what is otherwise, a meaningless game for Sheffield United. Though their boss has made it clear he wants to enter the play-offs with positivity and momentum.<\/p>\n

Sheffield United have never won the play-offs and so missing out on automatic promotion has, understandably, created some nervousness in their fan base. Wilder, though insists the club are not feeling that burden.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, absolutely, 100 per cent [the play-offs are something to look forward to],\u201d\u00a0Wilder told The Star.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve talked about 2016, six years in League One, nobody thought we’d get out of that. We did that. We talked about getting into the Championship and getting a foothold in that division. We had a foothold for two seasons, the second season resulted in promotion. Then we finished ninth [in the Premier League].<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s only, and I\u2019m not being critical, it’s only the supporters that sort of bring this stuff up, because all of us are uber-ultra-positive in terms of what we can achieve.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ll finish 20 points clear of the team that finishes in sixth place. I’m not a mug, and we don’t take anything for granted, we respect everybody we play, but we’re in a good place. Everybody’s fit, everybody’s healthy, everybody’s raring to go.
