How can they build a road through there?

“The road they are trying to build is unachievable, it is right next to the River Clyde and it is taking away a lot of the pathways for cycling and walking as there is a connection to Loch Lomond.

“The traffic management will also be horrendous. Carmyle is already exempt from pavement parking prohibitions, because of how narrow the streets are and how many cars there are. This development will only make the situation worse.”

STV News is now on WhatsApp

Get all the latest news from around the country

Follow STV News Follow STV News on WhatsApp

Scan the QR code on your mobile device for all the latest news from around the country

Community campaigners opposing proposals to develop new homes on their beloved greenspace in Carmyle have met with councillors…

[7826
748,918,4884,712,16,15
0":"post-661900","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-glasgow","8":"tag-britain","9":"tag-glasgow","10":"tag-great-britain","11":"tag-scotland","12":"tag-uk","13":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
