{"id":663518,"date":"2025-12-30T23:54:21","date_gmt":"2025-12-30T23:54:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/663518\/"},"modified":"2025-12-30T23:54:21","modified_gmt":"2025-12-30T23:54:21","slug":"tottenham-transfer-news-defender-gives-green-light-to-spurs-exit-for-one-particular-club","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/663518\/","title":{"rendered":"Tottenham transfer news: Defender &#8216;gives green light&#8217; to Spurs exit for one particular club"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Serie A giants <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/juventus\/\" title=\"Juventus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Juventus<\/a> are reportedly working on signing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/spurs\/\" title=\"Tottenham Hotspur\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> defender\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/people\/radu-dragusin\/\" title=\"Radu Dragusin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Radu Dragusin<\/a> in the January transfer window.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 23-year-old progressed through the youth ranks at Juve but did not make an impact for the senior team, and was sold to Genoa permanently after impressing for them on loan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the January window of 2024, Spurs moved ahead of other suitors to sign Dragusin for a reported fee of\u00a0\u00a321.5m, but his time at the north London club has been marred by injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dragusin picked up an ACL injury during Tottenham&#8217;s 3-0 Europa League win over Elfsborg back in February, and has been out for 11 months.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The centre-back marked his return in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/spurs\/top-four-race\/news\/gray-sets-spurs-record-with-palace-goal-as-frank-earns-crucial-win_588640.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Spurs&#8217; 1-0 win against Crystal Palace<\/strong><\/a> at Selhurst Park, making a five-minute cameo in the London derby.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Juventus eye move for Dragusin?\u00a0<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" data-img-id=\"156022\" class=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/https:\/\/sportsmole-media-prod.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net\/uploads\/2025\/12\/imago1062298553-1-694ab839cc0e.webp\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a9 Imago \/ Sportimage<\/p>\n<p>According to journalist\u00a0Enzo Bucchioni via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.juvefc.com\/journalist-claims-tottenham-player-gave-the-green-light-for-juventus-return\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Juvefc<\/a>, the Bianconeri are hoping to bring the Romanian international back to the club in January.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Old Lady are looking to provide Luciano Spalletti funds to make necessary reinforcements, and they have earmarked several targets,\u00a0including Dragusin.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Inter Milan&#8217;s Davide Frattesi and Genoa&#8217;s\u00a0Brooke Norton-Cuffy are other options for Juventus, but they also want Dragusin, who is reportedly open to moving to Italy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe new Juventus director (Marco Ottolini) is trying to reunite with one of his former players, namely Dragusin, who was sold to Tottenham. The player has given the green light, and the deal is underway,\u201d claims the journalist.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Spurs are unlikely to sell Dragusin\u00a0<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" data-img-id=\"145718\" class=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/https:\/\/sportsmole-media-prod.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net\/25\/12\/romania.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a9 Imago<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/people\/thomas-frank\/\" title=\"Thomas Frank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thomas Frank<\/a> needs more players as they compete in multiple competitions, and Dragusin could play an important role in the second half of the campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/people\/micky-van-de-ven\/\" title=\"Micky van de Ven\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Micky van de Ven<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/people\/cristian-romero\/\" title=\"Cristian Romero\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cristian Romero<\/a> are first-choice options for Frank in defence, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/people\/kevin-danso\/\" title=\"Kevin Danso\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kevin Danso<\/a> remains another option.
